During my first pregnancy, I wanted to start a pregnancy diary but the weeks slipped by and so did the idea. Somehow, I’ve forgotten most of the details but now that pregnancy #2 has rolled around, I’m excited about documenting it and sharing the  journey.

Pregnancy Diary 28 weeks – The birth plan

Our bub weighs over 1kg – like your litre water bottle! Things went smoothly this week. I spent half my time in Lorne preparing for our move in the next couple of weeks. We’ve got a lot of packing up to do yet, but with a few helpful hands it will get done... read more

Pregnancy Diary 27 Weeks- House plans submitted!

Our bub is the size of a cauliflower!  And there it was, another week passes in the blink of an eye. All in all a fairly cruisey week. Everything is under control with work and I’m expanding well into my skin. I haven’t weighed myself in a few weeks, but... read more

Pregnancy Diary 26 weeks – Quiet time

Our bub is the size of a red cabbage! I had a pretty chilled week this week. I cancelled a few things on my schedule to stay in Lorne with Kai. It was so nice and quiet and its amazing how much longer the days are when you’re out of the high paced city life. We... read more

Pregnancy Diary 24 weeks – Under the weather

Our bub is as long as a corn cob! It was no surprise this week that I caught a nasty cold and cough. Actually I probably picked it up in China last week from all the smog, travel and being literally walked off my feet. I can’t remember the last time I was sick!... read more

Pregnancy Diary 22 Weeks – Feeling the stretch

Our bub is the size of a large mango!   Lot’s of activity in and out of the womb this week. October has so far been a month of awards nights, speaking events, gala dinners and social catch-ups and I must admit, whilst having a few nights on the town has... read more

Pregnancy Diary 21 weeks – Baby brain

Our bub is the length of a big banana! It’s happening. My normal sharp, focused brain is switching off. There’s a fog setting in. I was afraid it would be back.  At least I’m not alone and it’s known that ‘baby brain’ or... read more

Pregnancy Diary 20 Weeks – Half Way!

Our bub is the length of a carrot! My 20th week has been the most exciting time so far. Mainly because it marks half but lot’s has happened this week. I had another ultrasound to check up on the baby in progress. It’s rapidly growing and it’s safe to... read more

Pregnancy Diary Week 18 – A mixed bag

Our bub is the size of a capsicum! What a fun and productive week. Still cruising on the pregnancy front and just waiting patiently for the day I feel the first kick and poke. Shouldn’t be too much longer now. I most excited for Kai to feel some movement form... read more

Pregnancy Diary Week 17- The in between

Our bub weighs as much as a turnip! It was a busy week this week with interstate trips, work,  doctor checkups as well as heading back to Mt Buller to catch the spring snow and the annual Abom Mogul Challenge. I’m feeling tired in general this week…. and... read more
